Smile for Health® – Wellness
Improved Dental Insurance Coverage for Eligible Members
Smile for Health® - Wellness is a unique program designed specifically for members who have the following health conditions or are pregnant:

These conditions and pregnancy have been linked to gum disease, a common, but largely preventable condition where the bacteria in plaque cause inflammation in the mouth. While inflammation can be a normal process to help keep the body healthy, the constant inflammation that can occur with severe gum disease may make it more difficult for your body to fight other outside threats, like stress or infection.1
Professional dental care is necessary to treat and stop the progression of gum disease. Smile for Health® – Wellness can make it more affordable to receive the proper gum disease care, which in turn may help you see improvements in your overall health.2
